Kentucky Country Ham Breakfast

Congressman Yarmuth chowed down on some great ham, cheese grits, fried apples and Sweet Sorghum at the 45^th annual Kentucky State Fair's Kentucky Country Ham Breakfast.

The breakfast, sponsored by Kentucky Farm Bureau Federation, included Attorney General Jack Conway in attendance along with Senate candidate Bruce Lunsford and a host of other Kentucky leaders to hear Governor Steve Beshear's keynote address. Following the Governor's speech, Miss Kentucky presented to the crowd the over-19 pound prize-winning ham, produced by Broadbent's B & B Foods, that was auctioned off to Republic Bank and Trust Company for $200,000-all of which will go to charity!
