Keeping Promises
In 2006, Congressman Yarmuth pledged to donate his entire Congressional salary to Louisville charities. The Congressman's post-tax salary for 2007 totaled just over $120,000, all of which he donated, in varying sums, to the over 30 local charities listed below. Congressman Yarmuth also voted against pay raises for members of Congress.
